  • I’ve tried the email check plugin. It sent the test email. I’ve removed all plugins by renaming them, then used the default theme, same problem.
I tried another plugin called TT Guest Post Submit, it sends emails however I can only send one at a time with that plugin. (I want to send multiple emails just as User Submitted Posts allows)
One thing I’d like to point out is that I’m using SMTP mail instead of PHP Mail. Mail() does not work on this server. I’m using this: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/

It sounds like a conflict with something, if you can produce any error of any kind from your server that will enable me to troubleshoot the issue asap. Otherwise, all I can say is that it works on *most* servers fine and without issue.

I’m logged off the server for a while now, but I will look through logs as soon as I can to see if I can find anything.

    Hi Jeff,

I’m still having problems with this. I just can’t seem to get an email notification. And also I can’t get the uploaded images to show. Or indeed any of the info from the custom fields that I have added.

Here’s a link to the site I’m working on The user submits the info and the post should appear on ‘The Anthology’ page.

Just to follow-up with this thread, the latest version of the plugin (20150319) includes improved email headers for alerts, so should resolve any issues with sending email. Please try again and let me know if any issue, thanks!
