Email notification to Admin not post author

  • I had this issue but TC, the author of this plug-in was helpful enough to provide a fix as below.

    To have the expirey notification email sent to the site admin instead of individual post authors, Go to plugin_folder/post-auto-expire-control.php, look for function apext_notification()

    Goto line $author_email = $user_info->user_email; , and change it to your admin email.

    Hope this helps someone.

  • Thank You, This would be great… however, which part am I changing to the admin email?

    $author_email = $user_info->user_email;

    Do I put my email where it says user_email or after the = sign?

    E.g.

    $author_email = $user_info->[email protected];
$author_email = [email protected];

    or is it neither of those?
