The last 7 days for no apparent reason sending email notifications to subscribers has stopped working. I had no problem and for many years it worked fine.

Any idea what could be causing this?

    Hi there, @filippos,

Thanks for reporting this. I see a little hiccup in the Jetpack connection that might affect the way the emails get sent when publishing a new blog post.

To fix that, please check for any security/caching plugins you may have enabled and try temporarily disabling them to see if it fixes the problem. You may also want to search for any firewall on your server side that might be blocking the communication with the xmlrpc.php file – your host should be able to help you with that. Please also check the host for any misconfigured?mod_security?rules.

That said, I investigated the issue you reported a bit deeper, and I can see that some subscribers have received notifications today (July 5th), while some of them have blocked us from sending them any subscription emails. I wonder if this could be the issue, so I’d like to check it deeper.

At this point, I’d like to run some more tests with you on your site to try to figure out what’s happening. Could you contact us via this contact form and mention this thread? Please also include the email addresses of the readers that reported not getting emails from you.

Look forward to your reply and thanks for sorting this out with us!

    Hello @filippos ,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
