Email notifications

1. Yes, the user will be notified via email when a listing is about to expire, when it expires, and when a payment is made. The admin can also be notified when any changes are made to a listing. However, we don’t have any trial feature at this time.
2. Business Directory Plugin doesn’t have control over users. By default, we use the WordPress registration and login, or you can use a membership plugin.
3. Yes, we have an option to include a report button on the listings so inappropriate listings can be reported.
4. Yes, reviews/ratings can be set to only allow logged in users to leave a review/rating. However, I would like to mention our reviews/ratings add-on is a premium feature.

6. We do have a manage listings page for users. When they are logged in they can see all of their listings with the options to edit, delete, and renew them.

1. regarding the free trial option, maybe i didn’t explain well enough but this would be for the advertiser adding a listing, can they have a free option and then after for example 3 months then only choose a payment package?
2. what membership plugin do you suggest works best or is most compatible with this plugin?
3. that’s great, does the report go to admin’s email address?
4. how much does the premium ratings/reviews add-on cost?
5. thanx, will have to go through this.
6. great, can they also edit their details like contact details etc? also change their user logins if need be?
7. lastly, is there a booking plugin that you can suggest works best with this plugin, for example the booking calendar plugin?

1. Thanks for clarifying. Unfortunately, this isn’t a feature that we currently have. However, the best way to do this would be to use our discount codes add-on and create a 100% off discount code that can only be used once per user.
2. We have a lot of users who use MemberPress.
3. Yes, reported listings will be sent to the admin email.
4. The basic package currently costs $99 which includes the ratings add-on as well as others. You can see this here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/pricing/

6. The manage listings page only allows them to make changes to their listings. Business Directory doesn’t have control over user profiles. This is something a membership plugin would come in handy for.
7. You could use the Formidable Forms plugin to create a custom contact form for your listings that includes booking information.
