email notifications

  • By default would an email notification be sent to the new users? Is the option to choose whether to send an email message available only to ensue that an email is not sent? I am downloading users from Zendesk, and I want to be sure that email are sent. I want to test this with a single user using the import users from a csv file plugin, but the option to turn email on or off alarms me because I’m not sure that our auto download will send email messages.

    You can avoid mail sendings with an option in “Mail options”:

    Thank you. I actually don’t want to disable. I want to ensure that emails get sent. I think you answered that for me…they will be sent unless I disable. Thanks.

    Yes, anyway if mail is not sent it can be a SMTP problem or maybe another plugin blocking this mails to be sent.
