Email notifications aren't being sent

I am unable to get the plugin to work. It seems as if the settings are ok per the forum advice, but email notifications are not going out and are not in the queue.

WP 3.5.2
BuddyPress 1.7.2
BuddyPress Group Email Subscription 3.3.3
Do I need bbPress installed?

@tcwebtech – You shouldn’t need bbPress installed, but you’ll only get group status updates sent.

Do you receive regular BuddyPress emails like at-mentions and private messages? If you do and you’re not receiving group emails, contact me as described above.

@gabokappa – Finally had a chance to test your install.

You had search engine visibility disabled in WordPress. Due to a quirk with bbPress, if you have search engine visibility disabled, bbPress will not record any forum activity into BuddyPress whatsoever.

Since forum activity isn’t recorded, GES will not send out or record any group forum email.

I’ve re-enabled search engine visibility on your install so bbPress will work with BuddyPress.

So for anyone using bbPress, you need to turn on search engine visibility in WordPress.
