Email on the site has been working normally with the default php mailer. When I enabled email notifications for a file upload, we never received a notification. I installed wp-mail-smtp and opened an account on smtp-com. I can verify that emails sent through our contact form are being processed by smtp-com (this worked fine with php mail, BTW), but we are still not receiving notifications on file uploads. We have the “Send Notifications on upload” control checked and we have valid email addresses entered on the email notifications page. Any assistance is most welcome.

    Hi @funderburgh,

We’d like to let you know that Form submission and mail delivery are both possible with SMTP mail, Our email notification feature doesn’t have a dependency on SMTP. Email notification is a feature built into our plugin that works for logged-in users. When a logged-in user uploads, downloads, or edits files or folders, the admin receives an email notification. For more information on email notifications, please see the help article.?https://filemanagerpro.io/article/email-notifications/

Please let us know if you have any further questions; we’d be happy to assist.

    Warm regards,

    Support team- File Manager Pro
