Email notifications for new events

You could use a plugin, or manually write some code that fires the built-in wp_mail() function on the save_post() action, if the post type is tribe_events.

Otherwise, while I don’t have specific plugin names off the top of my head, you might have some luck by Googling for mail plugins that specifically support custom post types.
