I am the former designer of a site. I changed the address to which the email notifications should go, but the plugin is using the site address (which unfortunately is still mine until the new designer switches. Seems to be a bug.

    Hello @sam-lowry

    I trust you’re doing well!

I’ve tested the plugin from my end and can’t replicate the issue. After changing an email address in settings, notifications were emailed to that new address.

Please verify that a correct email added to the settings, from Settings > Link Checker > General. If there is an Object or Varnish cache enabled, please purge the cache and see if an email will be sent to a correct address.

If the issue will be there, please run a test for a conflict with another plugin. You can run this test on a staging site. Deactivate all plugins, besides the Broken Link Checker and see if notification will be sent to the right email address.

If all will go well, start activating one plugin at a time, till the issue be back. This way you will find the plugin that causing the issue

Let us know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia
