hi guys busy with the installation, great product so far though a lot of the usability is very illogic very much as wordpress is.

One front end message is the user notifications side tab: it says ‘You will see the options to disable the active notifications for UsersWP and it’s add ons. This message shouldn’t be served to my users. And I assume the tap is only useful when having notification add ons installed?

second mail question. Your system configures the sending address to: WordPress@ my domain. There seems to be no place to change this. Obviously WordPress@mydomain is not the address i want to use to mail my users.

    thanks in advance

  • Hi,

If you don’t want to show the notifications tab then you can remove it using the code snippet mentioned here: https://docs.userswp.io/article/578-how-to-remove-notifications-and-privacy-from-account-options

Regarding changing default image we have given setting in UsersWP->Emails->Email Options->Email address.

    Regards,
    Patrik

re: change of wp user admin email name (only) as it does actually send from my default wp system email. but not the sender name and reply address it states in the email that one was somehow constructed by UserWp namely wordpress@mydomain

Unfortunately ‘wp users Email sender options’ doesn’t give me the option to edit it following your link. also not when hitting advanced button. The Email sender options field only has a dropdown which seems to go to my apple contact book personal profile I cannot type or choose any other email (from my computer or other). The biggest problem is that it is part of the notification emails. But is an email address i never constructed : wordpress@mydomain
