Email placeholder field in modern checkout

    Hello everybody, how come email placeholder is not editable in modern style checkkout?

    and is there some code-workaround ?

    its the last thing i need to make beautiful checkout page. I just need to translate the “email adress” placeholder field in the modern style one column. I know that fix can be to change to the oldschool one columnm, but i dont like that style… thanks

    Hello, for anyone else wondering about this issue:

    In loco translate, you want to translate the “email address %s” field/string. – Only translating “email address” string won’t change placeholder text in the checkout.

    However, you still cant make the email field optional, unless you change the checkout style from the modern styled ones.
