Email results to test-taker and administrator?

Hi Nabil,

Currently there are no such feature.

Test-taker will see results after clickin on “Get The Results” button.

And test author will have some tables in admin area where all test passings will be available.

It’s all planned to next releases.

Btw, if notifying test-author seems must-have feature (with some settings I think), why do you need sending results to respondents (test-takers)?

i agree, it would be fine to be able send results by emails to respondents.
please tell me when it’s possible andhow

Because respondent will get results on standalone page. Why do you want to send similar info to his/her email?

No? Then in respondents’ results we have this email. Or we will have it in export.

I just want to understand real needs before implement anything. As may be it could be implemented in more advanced or more simple way.

When we promise users that the result comes to his email, he would have to receive email outcome, or at least a link to the result with a note to email safekeeping.

And we also need to respondent was registered on mailist from Mailpoet, GetResponse, etc. after completing email. Or to WordPress. Good would be the ability to embed a registration form from mailing services between questions in the test.

The idea is to capture the email using the test result as the bribe to capture the email. So the quiz will be like a lead magnet. So we can say enter your email and a copy of the test result will be emailed to you. It is like an ethical bribe.

Apart from what I mentioned in my earlier post of using the test result as an ethical bribe to capture the respondents email, sending the respondent’s result through email will allow replacement of printing of the result. Not all users especially the smart phone and tablet users want to print or even have printers.

So when the test result is received through email, it can not only be retained and shared with family and friends easily, but the respondent can also refer back to his/her email or website in the future to view his/her result. Few users will realistically ever save the link and because of the personal nature of the result of our test, they are unlikely to share it in Social Media. So emailing them a copy of the result will ensure they will have it which they can refer back in the future.

We could always use a email capture form to get the email instead of using the test result as a bribe to get the email. But using the test has a unique advantage of customizing the email communication we send in the future.

For example say through our test we idenitfy that you as the respondent has Vitamin D Defficiency which is worst during the month of October. Then we will customize the email we send to the customer as follows:

“Hello Ustimenko, it is October, an aggravating time for your Vitamin D Defficiency. Remember to take our Vitamin D Supplement (Linked to web page) and eat warm soups and stews. Here are some recipes to help you get through October”

We will be referencing back to the information we already shared in the first email when the respondent first answered the test. It will engage the user more and help achieve greater compliance to what we want the respondent to do next like buying the products we suggest. The Wp-Testing plugin will be brilliant if it helped capture the respondents email by sending the result to their email because of the reasons mentioned here.

So regarding “Sending by email” feature. As I understand email that will be sent should have some template? Or it could be something standard and should have same design as current result page?

I know that it should be compatible with emails services regarding it’s look — it’s a known task.

No it need not have a template and it is enough if we replicate the result page. It can even be an attachment to an email. We will just import the emails to our autoresponder later for the follow up emails.

I believe you have not added the feature to the google spread sheet. Will greatly appreciate it if you move this up the priority list and will be willing to pay in advance.

I will change the title and description of last addon.

Addon position depends currently from number of people ordered that addon. Later when they all will be implemented I will plan to add some burse to implementation order of improvements in already released versions.
