    Hi @infofinal,

I hope you are doing well today!

Please share an export of the form with us, so that we can check further.

You can find more info on how to export the form here : https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#import-export

After exporting, please share the code using a service such as https://pastebin.com which is free to use.

Please always make sure to use such service to share the code and don’t post the code here directly as it will most likely be unusable.

    Kind regards,
    Zafer

    Hi @infofinal,

Thanks for sharing the export of the form.

I took a closer look at the form configuration and noticed there aren’t any Sender Details (from name or from address) configured for the notification email. It is an expected behaviour to use the WordPress admin email as the default sender address when there isn’t any sender address specifically mentioned.

Please try configuring Sender details under the Advanced tab of the notification email, that should help.

    Kind Regards,
    Nebu John

    Hi @infofinal

    Thank you for your response!

I understand that you made changes directly in form notification settings.

This should work but since it doesn’t, please

    1. go to “Forminator -> Settings -> General” page and check current settings in “From Headers” section there; if they are different than those set for the form, remove both “Sender email address” and “Sender name” values (just make them empty), save settings, clear all cache and test form again.

    2. if this still doesn’t help, we’ll need to test it more; in such case:

    a) install this free plugin on site and activate it https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/post-smtp/

    b) go to “Post SMTP -> Settings” page but do NOT make any changes in “Accounts” tab – keep it as it is by default

    c) switch to “Message” tab and put both email address and name there (the ones that should be used) – make sure that “prevent plugins and themes from changing this” checkbox is NOT checked; save settings

    d) switch to “Logging” tab and make sure that logging is enabled

    e) after that test the form again and see if the issue is still happening.

If it is – check both “prevent plugins and themes from changing this” checkboxes in “Message” tab (see point “c” above) and test again.

If it works now, we’ll know that the issue is happening due to some other (than Forminator) plugin or site or the theme. If it still doesn’t work, it would most likely be related to server configuration (which may prevent overriding headers).

So let us know about results of those tests, please.

    Kind regards,
    Adam
