• Thanks for developing this plugin!

I hope you can point me in the right direction.

I have scheduled outgoing emails to be sent on specific days. However, the email log file displays an error message and I can confirm that the scheduled emails are not being sent.

I tried both SMTP plugins recommended and confirm that both plugins can successfully send a test emails.

I attempted to review the FAQ’s but I can confirm my SMTP email plugins are setup up properly and can send test emails successfully.

I am at a loss to figure out what I may be doing wrong and trust you can provide some guidance.

    Thanks.

    What is the error message?

I am also having an issue with this. I have emails scheduled to go out on specific days. I have subscribed to my own list and it works well. I receive the correct email on the correct date through smtp and a cron job.

However, my husband just subscribed to my list and was sent the first email that I have scheduled to be sent right when they subscribe. But, that was the only email he was ever sent. He never received the next email for the next day.

    Why is this?

Check the Raw email log link in the Arigato menu. If it shows emails sent but some errors, you will know what’s the problem. If there are no emails in the log on the expected dates, this means your cron job is not running.

If the emails are sent and there are no erorrs, this means they are blocked on the receiver’s end (most likely went to spam).

Thank so much for your quick reply!
I checked the raw email log and all status shows “OK”.

I can see the “Welcome” email sent to my husband a few days ago.

Then, I can see the following days email that was sent to myself as well as another subscriber that I have but nothing was sent to my husband on that next day.

Same thing for yesterday. I received the correct email along with my other subscriber but my husband still received nothing.

So, I have no errors and it seems that my cron job is working. The emails were not sent and he did not unsubscribe.

What else do you think could be wrong with it?

I could not understand are the unsent emails shown in the log or not

No. No emails are being sent to my husband at all. Only the initial welcome email that I have set for “0” so that it sends automatically after they subscribe. After that, my campaign is supposed to send them emails for a certain date but the plugin never sends him those emails.

However, I receive them and another one of my subscribers receives them too.

So they are not even in the email log??
This is kind of impossible. Unfortunately I don’t know what could cause it, it makes no sense. The program does not treat different emails in a different way. If it sends to you and to another subscriber, then it sends to everyone.

I completely agree with you. That is why I’m very confused. I tried to resubscribe him and again he received the initial welcome email. However, I don’t know if he will receive anything else like when he subscribed the first time.

I did update the plugin. Is there anything else that you would recommend?

I also checked his spam folder and nothing showed up.
He uses a gmail email. I use one from my hosting site.

I can’t think of anything that could cause this. We are not allowed to ask for admin login so I simply have no way to help. Sorry.

There has to be an explanation or way to fix this.

    What else can we do?

I do not mind giving you my login details. Do you mind taking a closer look?

    Thanks

The other issue I am seeing is that I have “active” subscribers that were only sent 1 email even though they subscribed months ago.

Why is this plugin so unreliable? How can I fix it?

    Plugin Author Bob

    (@prasunsen)

“active” means that their email has been confirmed. It has nothing to do with the number of emails they have been sent

If multiple users get only the first email in the sequence there is only one possible reason for this – your cron job is not running regularly. Which setting do you use?

WordPress does not allow us to login in user sites. This is not my choice, I may get banned for doing this. Free plugin support is provided only here in the forum and this is also per the WordPress rules and not my choice.

The plugin is 100% reliable and used by 2000+ users on regular basis. We are giving it for free and I am also spending my time for free trying to help you. I’ll appreciate if you retrain from calling my hard work unreliable especially when your problems are not caused by the software.

I love this plugin. I appreciate you offering it and for your help!??

I believe my cron job is working like it should because I am receiving the daily email sequence just fine to my email address. I have received over 300 emails from the sequence this past year. Another subscriber has received over 70 emails and it shows in the raw log that it was sent as recent as yesterday to both of us.

I am using 0*/6*** for my cron job.
And, it still sends me the same email twice in one day sometimes.

However, some subscribers like my husband, have only received 1 email or 3 emails and it doesn’t send anymore to them.

Would you recommend I uninstall and reinstall the plugin again?

Would I lose all of my emails that I have in the sequence if I did this?

Is there anything else I could try?

I deleted my husband’s email and manually subscribed him but he still only received the first email and nothing else while I continued to receive the correct email for the day to my email at address.

Are your mailing limits high enough to send all emails that should be sent in a day? Example what I mean:

Let’s say you have 1,000 subscribers. At a given day 500 of them should receive an email.

Your cron job runs each 6 hours.

If your setting for mail limits is “send up to 100 emails at once”, only 400 emails will be sent on a given day and the other 100 subscribers will never receive that day email.

It is possible also that even having high enough limit in Arigato does not work – this is in case your host limits the numbers of emails that can be sent per hour to a lower number.

I understand all that you are referring to but in my case, I only have 9 subscribers and Arigato is only sending my email to 3 of them.

It sends it to my email twice per day and I can see that the second one was sent 6 hours after the first one.
