    Hi ??
I was trying to use WP Mail SMTP on my localhost site to send email from my Gmail through SendGrid.
So I have api key and sender was set on SendGrid.
When I send a test mail it says email sent successfully, but nothing received on mail and on SendGrid dashboard it also says 0 mail requests.

What do you think the problem is?

  • Hi @meidanm95,

The issue is possibly because you’re trying to send email From Gmail through Sendgrid. Sendgrid wants the From Email to be specific to the domain you’ve verified with SendGrid, for example info@yourdomain.com. On the localhost, since there is no way to verify your domain, you might want to verify the specific sender’s address.

    I hope this helps!

    Hi @sanzeeb3 ??
    Thank you for your answer!
I verified my sender mail before I opened this thread.. Anyway after two days from sending the email from wordpress, I’ve got the request in sendgrid on their dashboard but the email still isn’t delivered.
I guess that’s because I’m a new user and my account is still under review..hope it’s just a matter of time

    Hi @meidanm95,

Yes, that is likely the issue. New unverified accounts may have email delivery issues because your domain is probably not authorized yet.

    Thanks!

I am face same error. I am using “WP Mail SMTP” with sendgrid. Mail is sending on gmail domain (somthing@gmail.com) but not send to other domain like (something@company1.com).

    Kindly help me.

Hi @prashcs61 – Are you also using Sendgrid and authorized your domain by adding the Sendgrid’s DNS records? Please check the Sendgrid logs to find out what happened to the email after it was sent.

    Thanks!
