Email settings for WordPress?

    Any feature that involves my install of wordpress using email isn’t working…i.e. I tried to sign up as a subscriber, plus I tired a few plug-ins that involve subsribing to comments via email and none of them work. So it’s got to be something to do with my email settings? How can I fix this problem, Cheers.

  • why is this listed as resolved?? where is the solution?? i have the same problem, after upgrading to 2.2 – every time i upgrade i have to remember to go into the function.php file and change the headers on the wp_mail function, but now i can’t find that function – where did it go?

    I gave up on getting wordpress to email and used a 3rd party plug-in Swift SMTP So I changed it to resolved…although I guess there may still be a problem there?
