Email sharing surprise

Hello again,

Had one more question to bug with you, if you’ll indulge me. In testing, I just realized that the email share feature does not actually share the specific text the user highlighted but rather just a link to the page in question. Given how the plugin works in all other contexts, I had assumed it would share the specific highlighted text via email (and was really hoping to offer that function to my users).

Is the link-only sharing by design, or is there something that might be funky with my configuration that’s causing that to happen? If the latter, is there any way you know of that I could get the actual highlighted text to be shared via email rather than just a link to the page?
