• When using Email Shortcodes in the text that will be sent to users, when using Bulk Account Activate Notification, it don’t work!

    The text in the email you receive looks like this:
    Dear {first_name} {last_name}
    …..
    But if I use password reset, then the code works, and the text is correct:
    Dear Sofia Asklund
    ….

    So my question is – why can’t I have codes in the bulk email?

    The bulk email can’t do the dynamic email tag filtering because it sends the same email text in bulk. Otherwise it would slow things down and cause problems when the number of members on the site increases.

    You would need to use generic text for that bulk email.

    But thank you! Then I stop looking for an solution! I thought it was something wrong with my web hotel or something!
    Now I know!
    Thank you!
