Email Status Not Mailed

I recently installed the WC Abandoned Cart/ Failed Payment Recovery plugin. I set up the Cancelled Payment email template however, upon cancellation of a buyer’s order, an email was not sent. It has been 9 hours since the buyer cancelled and still no email has been sent. The template shows Active and is set to sent after 15 minutes.
Am I missing a step somewhere?Thank you,
