    Hi,

    I’ve managed to get the plugin to work and it’s brilliant! My only question now is how I’m able to style the email sufficiently, as the only option appears to be very slight HTML edits to the text via WordPress’s standard visual editor. This ‘really’ only allows a slightly edited text email.

    All of our emails follow a certain branded template, and inputting any stylesheet coding into this visual editor just results in a totally broken email. Is it possible in any way to include CSS styling along with the HTML?

    Also, is it possible to have the download link as a button? Using {download_link} just displays a basic text link of the filename, which is very unattractive in regards to UI.

    Hi,

    Nice to hear you like our plugin, thank you!

    A filter is available to edit the email message or to write your own HTML email content. You could use inline styles to add CSS to your HTML elements.

    $message = apply_filters( 'dae_email_message', $message, $values, $messages['email_content'], $file, $download_url );

    In your custom email message you can also add your own HTML button using the $download_url that is passed.

    If you have any more questions, feel free to ask or to contact us via our website.

    Kind regards,
    Team Download After Email
