Email Subscribe Plugin

  • Is there an “email subscribe” plugin that does not require the subscriber to confirm via email that they would like to subscribe to receive our post via email? In other words, once they have entered their email address in the subscribe box on our website, they are confirmed. At this time, I am using the email subscribe plugin by Jetpack.

    I am also using the Sumome list builder and I am manually adding the email addresses to the Jetpack subscribe plugin. Is there a easier way?

  • If there is, don’t use it.

    The double-opt-in system is there for a reason – it complies with pretty much eveyr anti-SPAM legeslation that’s set around the world. Unless you use that method you are wide open to being branded and blacklisted as a SPAM’er when bots start registering 1,000’s of email addresses that don’t really want to receive your messages.
