Email Subscribers never works

So, no solution or even notice of coming update to correct the manual sending problem? Or, perhaps you think the controls already exist, in which case, where’s the instructions to set it? You really shouldn’t let an ongoing issue like this persist into the weekend.

It is quite sad, that these amateurs who do not know enough about WordPress and how to code plugins for it are still in business. This plugin simply does not work, it has never worked as claimed.

With your unprofessional behaviour, you are doing quite a lot of harm to us who have trusted you. Why don’t you simply admit that you are out of your league, that you have not a clue how to make this to work.

Can anyone recommend a subscriber notification plugin that really works?

Emails are now being sent at the interval of 15 minutes with the help of WP Cron.

Please try if you haven’t tried yet.

I have updated to 4.0.6. As expected and as you for sure must know, it does not work, your plugin being totally useless. No notification emails are sent when new content is posted, although “Reports” show status as “Completed”. Notifications set to Plain Text, HTML has never worked.

Now I cannot even find how to send notifications manually.

At least please stop begging those 5 start reviews! That really makes me angry, an amateur or bunch of amateurs begging me to give a good review for a product that does not work.

Still hoping someone to recommend a working alternative.

It’s strange that even ES 4.0.6 doesn’t solve your issues.

People who were facing email notification issues earlier they also confirmed that emails are being sent now with ES 4.0.6.

You have released 10 updates in past 15 days. This clearly indicates you don’t have a clue what’s wrong. Today, we got version 4.0.9. Changelog tells among other details the following: “Fix: Post Notification doesn’t work with WP 5.0+ and ‘Classic Editor’“, which let’s me understand that as we are using WP 5.0+, classic editor and PHP 7.11, it should now work.

OK, after updating to 4.0.9. today, a new post was published. “Reports” showed first “Sending“, then “Completed. However, no emails were sent (plain text). I havenot found any option to send notification emails manually.

Why don’t you just give up?

I am repeating myself here but please, can someone recommend a really working post notification plugin?

When a new reader subscribes, the confirmation and “thanks for subscribing” emails go out without delay, without any issues.

However, although report shows “Completed” for each new post notification, no emails go out.
