Email Subscription Plugin Recommendations?

Thanks James, but I am so confused.
There are so many options but I don’t know what I need. I don’t even understand what I need to properly build an email userbase. Should I use a popup like Pippity or a banner like “Hellobar” or Google or Subscribe2.

I want something simple that works but it all seems so complicated. I currently have no traffic to my site and want to fix that.

Please help!

Just use one (only one) the two plugins mentioned above. ??

They both provide email subscription options and allow you place a form to collect subscriber email addresses.
