• Hello, I am using the email subscription module and trying to figure out how to keep pages from showing as recommendations in the Confirmed Subscription email i.e. the email after the user has clicked the email confirmation link, the part where it says something like “here’s content you might have missed”. I thought it was only supposed to show posts, not pages, and I see that it is showing random pages for some reason and it doesn’t make sense. This is confusing. Please help quick, much appreciated!

I’m afraid you don’t have control over the content displayed there at the moment. It’s automatically created by Jetpack based on the most visited posts & pages on your site in the past 10 days.

Would you like to be able to remove Pages from that list, or would you rather see other kinds of options to control what gets displayed there?

Thanks for replying Jeremy. I believe a blog owner should always have some type of control over which pages are shown and when. I think some type of options to control what’s displayed there would be fair, because right now it’s showing stupid pages on mine like the logout page, etc. Makes no sense.

Thanks for the feedback. I took note of your remarks, and we’ll consider adding a way to customize that list next time we work on improving the subscription emails in Jetpack and WordPress.com.

I’ll post again here when that happens.
