• I’m trying to help a school install an email subscription system on their WordPress blog. WordPress is installed on the school’s server. I’ve tried JetPack, Gopiplus, and the email subscription system by Tobias Nyholm (webfish?). All install without a problem. I drag the widget to the right sidebar (or any sidebar) and nothing happens. I tried changing the order of the widgets in the sidebar – nada. The theme is zeeStyle by themezee.com.

I left the Tobias Nyholm widget on. This morning it appeared in the sidebar so I subscribed. But when I went to a client’s later and checked the website – no subscription module in the sidebar.

    The site is https://twinbridges.k12.mt.us/.

Any advice you can offer will be appreciated.
    Debra

I’ve found a couple of other “clues” (hope springs…) regarding this problem. It appears that whoever installed this system put it in a /WP directory. While the email subscription box doesn’t appear when the website it loaded, it appears when the “Home” page is clicked. This doesn’t make sense to me as the other sidebar widgets appear whether the page is loaded from the index or the Home menu item.

I hope that someone in the community can clue me in as to the why this is so and point out what can be done to force the email subscription to appear on the front page regardless of how it’s accessed.
