• I have searched long and hard for the perfect email template system for producing customized system generated emails from within WordPress that show branding and look good. I have trialed “paid for” premium solutions, but couldn’t find anything I liked that offered a reasonable price for unlimited websites and lifetime updates.

Then, I found “Email Templates”. Not only is this plug-in free for the “light” version, but right out of the box it does all I need, and customizing it occurs entirely within the WordPress Customizer.

By designing the perfect .png image, I can get exactly the branding I want into the header of the email, and that’s just the beginning. I can see what’s happening in the real-time preview as I adjust my design, and I can even send a test email to make sure what I see in design is what the customers will see when they use my client’s websites.

I could not be happier! Congratulations and well done Damian Logghe – you’re a legend! Thank you.

  • Hi there, i hope all is well. it sounds like you are pleased with this plugin. Does this plugin replace the wordpress generated emails to new users of a wordpress website or blog? As you are a user of this plugin i thought id ask you.

    Thanks.

    Hello Gambit01,

I don’t operate any websites that allow sign-ups of new users, so I don’t know the answer to your question.

However, so far on all the websites I manage, this plugin over-rides WordPress system generated emails. For example, the plugin over-rides email alerts from Wordfence if there is a security issue alert, also from Updraft when automated scheduled backups are completed, or alerts from WordPress that there are plugin updates available.

I guess the only way to see whether it works for emails to new users is if you test it. Maybe you could “sign” yourself up to your own website with atemporay Hotmail or Gmail account, and see what comes through.

If you do, I’d be interested to hear what happens.

    Regards
    David

Hi there David, thanks for your reply. I was hesitant to test it as i have members on my blog list that will see the test email, when i post the test article. So i thought i would ask, however its time to do a blog post anyway, so i suppose i will see what happens when it goes out. I will let you know once i find out.

    All the best.

Hi there webinate, just getting back to you about what we discussed previously about testing. I found the plug-in good. A bitter sweet victory as i wanted to remove the branding from blog post emails, however it works excellent for woo-commerce orders, as it adds a professional tough with branding emails.
