Email Test shows success still but not delivering

    I have a client that has been using WP Mail SMTP for a few years but it has stopped working at some point. I originally set it up with Sendinblue, now Brevo. In an attempt to fix this I logged into Brevo, reconfigured the API connection with WP Mail SMTP, and set up the required DKIM records to authenticated the domain. The WP Mail SMTPtest tool gives me a success message but the test email is not delivering, along with any other emails sent from the website

    Hi @ashloni,

    Thanks for reaching out! First of all, please check the Brevo email log to see if those emails have been recorded on their end and check the status (delivered, failed, blocked, etc.). If it helps, please refer to this guide. Then, you may get in touch with Brevo support to find out more details.

    If you don’t see the email logs, make sure that you have configured the Brevo mailer correctly by following this guide.

    Hi! The logs are empty and I confirmed that I set it up correctly. The domain is verified and DMARC is configured. I even set up a new API key. Like I mentioned, the test email tool is showing a success message but the plugin isn’t actually sending any emails. Thanks for your help!

    Hi @ashloni,

    Thanks for getting in touch! If the Brevo email logs are empty, this indicates that your emails are not being routed through the configured Brevo mailer on your WP Mail SMTP plugin.

    Please check if there is another SMTP plugin installed on your site. You can try deactivating all third-party plugins to isolate the issue and determine if another plugin is interfering with the Brevo mailer.
