Email to Event Attendees

Is there an easy way to send an email the current list of attendees of an event? — I see that in RSVP Reports you have a link with Mailto:<attendees> but when I click on it, it tries to open an email client and I use gmail. — I waas expecting something a long the lines of a form I can type my email and send.
