Email validation

    The plugin emails the “email validation” okay, but neither pressing the button nor using the link provided in the email works. “Settings” in the plugin still displays a notification saying “Email not verified yet.” I’ve tried it several times. There is no notification in Dashboard, however, where it says “0” for “remaining tasks.”

    Hi @jamminjames,

    I see. The most important part is that you are receiving those emails correctly in your inbox, as this confirms that your WordPress environment is correctly configured to send email.

    Because you have now confirmed that your website can send these emails correctly, you can follow these steps to complete the verification manually:

    – Visit the plugin’s dashboard by navigating to the Security tab in the left-hand WordPress Menu.

    – Once you have that page opened: in the address bar of your browser, include &rsssl_force_verification=true#settings directly after the really-simple-security part of the URL, and press Enter to visit that page. Your email address should then become verified in the plugin.

    Thanks, that worked. Odd that it didn’t record it as verified on its own. Is that due to a cache issue, or what, do you think?
