With latest Mailpoet version, now we have a problem with emails that contain ‘-‘(dash)
    in the name.

So today I got +100 emails skipped because Mailpoet failed to validate them as emails.

135 records had issues and were skipped. Hide details

    Hey there!

This is a known bug with MailPoet and the team are working on a fix. It should be patched in the next release.

    Thanks!

Sure, but this should be patched immediately as it breaks the plugin functionality.
We should not wait 7 days until next scheduled update…

This needs to be fixed today.
    MailChimp is waiting.

Hey guys, we’re releasing a fix with today’s release. Thanks for your patience.

Long story short, the fix was part of a wider issue related to specific types of databases.

Fun fact: nearly a quarter of our dev time is spent on adapting MailPoet to different environments, like in this case.
