email verification for woocommerce

  • I have the the email verification plugin for new user registrations and have also integrated the recaptcha plugin but I am bombarded every day being copied in to automated emails for account requests and activation emails. They all seem to be bots as none of them are genuine. These emails are no use to me and just fill up my inbox. How do I stop being copied in to these automated emails?

    Hi @robertham,

    I hope you’re doing well.

    Apologies for the delayed response. Since you’re already using reCAPTCHA, I suggest trying hCaptcha, which are harder for bots to bypass while remaining user-friendly.

    Additionally, we have an option but only on the pro version to block specific email patterns (like *@mail.xyz). This will prevent accounts using such email addresses from signing up in your store.
