    Hi,

I’m creating a website that sells subscriptions to an app I have been building, using the combination of WooCommerce and the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension plugin. At the moment, it is a staging site.

At the moment, the workflow is as follows:

    • The user navigates to the shop/subscriptions page.
    • The user adds the item to their basket by clicking ‘sign up now’ and heads to the basket
    • The user is greeted with a screen that requires them to either log in or sign up.

The problem I have seems to occur when the user doesn’t have an account and then has to sign in. I have your plugin installed, to get them to verify their email address first, using an email verification link.

The problem seems to be that when the user logs in after clicking the email verification link, their basket has been emptied and they have to reselect it, before they can actually purchase the subscription. This doesn’t happen if they log in having already created an account, prior to adding the item to their basket.

Do you have an idea as to why this may be? Is there anything you can suggest to fix it? Of course, I want to ensure that the user’s basket is persisted.

    Thanks in advance.

    Best wishes,

    James

    Hi James,

In the plugin’s settings can you please try and enable the option under:

    Advanced > Custom “logout” function

Please let me know if you continue having trouble with this.

    Hi Zohaib,

Thanks for the advice. It seems to be working. I’ve asked a couple of people to check and they haven’t had the issue, which is good news.

    Best wishes,

    James
