“Email Your Volunteers” – There’s nothing to click on to email them!

    Hello and for the love of God can anyone help me? I sure hope so!! Here are my issues; there are two sections of the Volunteer Opportunity editing page that are not working properly. Specifically:

    1. Under the section entitled “Volunteer Opportunity RSVPs,” I cannot see a list of the volunteers who have signed up; it only says “Number RSVPed: 2/Number of Open Spots: Unlimited” — but these are not clickable links and the names of the volunteers do not show here.

    2. Under the section entitled “Email Your Volunteers” there is nothing there! Nothing to read, nothing to click! Automated emails seem to be going out fine, but there is no way to otherwise email the group of volunteers.

    Please oh please Wired Impact or other helpful person, help me fix this if you can! Many thanks. ??

  • Hi Sue,

    Sorry to hear you’re having troubles with the plugin. These items are not issues we’re able to replicate which means it’s probably a plugin or theme conflict. As a note, the ‘Number RSVPed’ text is not supposed to be a clickable link. A few questions:

    1) Are you using the most updated versions of WordPress and the Volunteer Management plugin?

    2) Would you mind switching to the default Twenty Twenty theme and let me know if that fixes the problems?

    3) Would you mind turning off all plugins except for the Volunteer Management plugin and see if that fixes the problems? If it does, you can activate the plugins one by one to see what’s causing the issue.

    Thanks so much, Dan. Much appreciated. Yes, that was it; I will make a new child theme with Twenty Twenty. FYI the theme I was using that conflicted with it is Phlox.
