Emailadres validation on checkout page

    Hello,

    Is it possible to set that after a customer has entered his / her e-mail address on the checkout page, a pop-up message appears on the screen if:

    “Don’t miss any important information, so make sure the email address is correct: [email protected] (customer email address)”

    where the entered e-mail address is also shown in bold? With this I want to prevent the customer from entering a wrong email address. So I don’t want 2 email address fields on the checkout screen where there is a check for difference in the entered email addresses. It really should be in a pop-up screen. Preferably without using a plug-in.

    Hi Peter,

    Achieving this without a plugin is going to be tricky – you’ll need custom code to make this happen, so there is not a lot of difference between that and installing a plugin.

    There is no plugin or bit of code that I’m aware of that can do this, so I’ll leave the topic open for others to respond. The one plugin I found that might help you address the problem you’re having with customers typing in the wrong address is one that lets you have them verify the account: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/customer-email-verification-for-woocommerce/
