I have been using this invoicing system for about 3 weeks now and have converted all my clients onto this system.. however today i see all my emailed invoices and quotes show as “file not found”.. have i done something wrong or is this normal. I have even tried updating an invoice and it still shows as “file not found”… i don’t see this error in your support forum.

Most likely something affected your permalinks and they need to be refreshed. You can do this by going to Settings / Permalinks and, without actually changing anything, just click the Save button. Please give this a try and let us know if it solves the problem for you…

I’ve tried this but I’m still getting this “file not found’ error.

you actually pointed me in the direction to what i recently changed in Settings and that was the web site “Site Address (URL)” in General settings.. from https://gardenlandscapes.co.za/wp to https://gardenlandscapes.co.za I have changed this back and now my Invoices and Quotes are displaying ?? Thank you!!

I am uncertain about when a quote is accepted by the client and then automatically changed to an invoice.. does the client automatically get notification of this invoice or do i need to send this invoice using the email invoice button.

Glad you were able to sort it out. ?? By the way if you want to change your Site URL in the future, you could try setting up some HTTP-301 redirects to prevent this problem from happening. If you search for “redirect” at www.ads-software.com/plugins there are several plugins available which may help with this.

    Cheers!

Heh, apparently we were typing at the same time. ??

What happens when the quote converts to an invoice depends on your settings. Under Sliced Invoices / Quote Settings there is a setting for “Accepted Quote Action”. There are 5 different options for this, of those only “Convert quote to invoice and send to client”, and “Create invoice and send to client, but keep quote” will automatically email the invoice to the client. The others do not.

Hope that helps! By the way, if you have any other questions not related to the original topic of this thread, it’s a good idea to start a new thread for it. If I hadn’t been here typing at the same time as you, I probably never would have seen your latest question.
