    Hi

    Just to make things clear :

    1. if i understand well, i need SMTP so that my jetpack CRM (and other wordpress emails) reach users well

    i saw WP mail SMTP plugin is the leader ?

    but you seem to recommend amazon SES ?

    which one should i choose ?

    2. also i thought i could do some emailing with Jetpack CRM by reaching any segment of my contact with an emailing template

    but it seems i need an external service like Mailpoet or another one ? or did i miss something ?

    if i can avoid install more plugins i will be happy ??

    Yes, in general, it helps with deliverability of emails. Some email hosts block emails from WordPress, which is where they come from by default (in WordPress and CRM.)

    No, you don’t necessarily need an external service, but again, it really depends on your given use case. If you’re going to be sending thousands of emails, you’re going to want (and likely need) a 3rd party plugin like SMTP Mailer. What MailPoet does is additionally provide a ton of functionality for email lists and newsletters that are beyond the scope of CRM or what it provides. It also has it’s own SMTP plugin:
