    Hello,

I set up payment “Cash” which I changed to “pay at 30 days” the goal here is to allow our credit approved customer to be able to pay at 30 days.

So they are able to place an order without having to pay right away, we send the invoice afterwards.

However, when this happen, it seem that our admin doesn’t receive any notification email with the order placed because the order goes from pending to on hold, I have this message on orders note :

“Awaiting BACS payment Order status changed from Pending payment to On hold.”

Do you know if there is a way to have these order go to processing automatically and have the notification of a new order sent to our admin without our dev to manually push the notification?

I hope that make sense… Thank you for you help!

Thank you for the help, so I installed the plugin, follow the guide and did the test again, the email are sent but not received.

I checked and we match all of these :

If the email was sent, but not received, there are a few steps that can be taken:

    • Make sure you’re using an email address that matches your site’s domain in the “From” Address field in?WooCommerce > Settings >Emails.
      • Using your @gmail.com, @yahoo.com or similar public domain email address is likely to cause emails to land in spam folders or be blocked due to a mismatch between the declared sender (servers of Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) and the actual sender (your server).
      • If your personal email is being used as the “From” Address, update this field with a registered email address that uses your website’s domain name.
    • Sign up for an account with a?dedicated SMTP provider?that will send the email for you. An average site can usually stay within free usage. This will be more reliable than your own server’s mail-sending function.
    • Check whether your site’s emails have?proper authentication?in place. This can avoid being?spam filtered.

Do you have any other trouble shot?

The email oog mark the 3 receiver like this : sun********@gmail.com,\n edu*********@gmail.com,\n sim*********@gmail.com

I don’t know if the /n is normal or not… I wrote the email addresses in Woo > Settings > Emails > Manage New Order like this : sun*********@gmail.com,edu*********@gmail.com,sim*********@gmail.com

Any clue why we don’t receive the notification?

Can you send an actual screenshot of your WP Mail Logging plugin showing this, please? You can use a service like https://snipboard.io/ to easily share screenshots in the forums.

Sending emails to multiple recipients is a known limitation of WooCommerce. WooCommerce only sends the notification email to the first email address listed in the settings, ignoring the rest.

However, I can confirm that the core WooCommerce functionality, coupled with a?dedicated SMTP provider (related documentation linked here), successfully sends notification emails to more than one email address.

I checked and we match all of these :

Sign up for an account with a?dedicated SMTP provider?that will send the email for you. An average site can usually stay within free usage. This will be more reliable than your own server’s mail-sending function.

You said you match all of these, including the SMTP. Can you confirm if you’re using a dedicated SMTP provider? If so, which one? Have you reached out to their support about this issue?

    Please, keep us posted!

    Thanks!

Few update on this we did receive the notification email all the emails but 3 hours after the notification was sent.

We do not use a SMTP we use Namecheap.

Should we install a SMTP on our website to send the emails? and/or should we keep only one email to receive the order details?

    Thank you,

    Simon

    Hi @mmmediterranean

The delay in receiving emails could be due to your server’s mail sending function. Using a dedicated SMTP provider can help resolve this issue. With a dedicated SMTP provider, you can ensure that your emails are sent more reliably and promptly.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Is it easy to set up a SMTP server?

    Hi @mmmediterranean,

Setting up an SMTP server can be straightforward with the right guidance. You can use a plugin like WP Mail SMTP.

    Here’s a brief guide:

    1. Install and activate the WP Mail SMTP plugin in your WordPress dashboard.
    2. Go to WP Mail SMTP > Settings.
    3. In the ‘From Email’ field, enter the email you want to send your emails from.
    4. In the ‘From Name’ field, enter the name you want to send your emails from.
    5. Select the mailer to use (like SMTP.com, Sendinblue, etc.).
    6. Depending on the mailer you chose, you’ll need to enter the SMTP host, SMTP port, and encryption settings. These details will be provided by your chosen mailer.
    7. Save your settings.

More details can be found here.

Remember, always make sure to test your settings to confirm everything is working properly.

    I hope this helps.

    Ok thank you for this,

It was working but for some reason a regular order paid by debit card, we are enable to receive the notification weather it’s one or many email that should be notify, same if I manually send it, I checked the email send log and it was sent but it’s not in our mailbox (gmail) neither spam folders).
However the other order notification were successfully sent do you know how could that be possible?

    Hey, @mmmediterranean!

Is this issue happening even after setting up an SMTP server?

Have you checked if the issue persists with different emails (not gmail)?

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi, I enable the SMTP as your example shows, I will let you know if it still don’t work.
I did SMTP set up, I send the emails to our domain addresses (3 of them) AND it’s sent from our domain address as well.

    Hey, @mmmediterranean!

    All right!

Setting up SMTP might solve the issue ??

Please let us know how it goes.

    Have a wonderful day!
