emailing your list

Hey guys,

I’ve got a list of people’s emails that downloaded my blog plugin and I wanted to email all of them to notify an update to re-download.

To avoid my server being spam filtered or black listed by a mail server, is it ok just to loop the mail() function on every email in my plugin downloader DB?

You know in this age, we gotta be careful of this.

I know most “emailers” use aweber or soemthing, but I’d rather avoid the hassle of double opt-in, etc..
