    I only logged on for 2 mins to run an update and I’ve had about 2 hours trying to fix the site.

    I’ve worked everything out other than two things

    – The approval emails are being sent in HTML format?
    – The customer message when a new person registers shows “/” rather than “‘”. I.e We’re shows as We/re

    Hope there’s an easy fix. This has completely thrown the site out at a time when we’re running a campaign to make our members register.

  • have you checked the checkbox “show in html format” under email tab.

    I’m having the same issue after updating today. My emails are all just code and not actually HTML. The “Show in HTML format” box is not checked.

    My emails are sending out from “Amy\’s Healthy Home VIP’s” instead of “Amy’s Healthy Home VIP’s” and the subject line says “Your Amy\’s Healthy Home VIP account is pending review” instead of “Your Amy’s Healthy Home VIP account is pending Review”.

    I raised a ticket directly with UM and they’re looking into it as there’s also a few other weird things happening.

    Please make sure to check “Use HTML for E-mails?” checkbox in Ultimate member -> Settings -> Emails.

    So, what if you prefer to send out plain text emails without all the HTML code? Do you simply overwrite all the HTML in the email template with plain text?

    Hi, I’m having a similar issue.

    All of my Ultimate Member emails had been working fine for years, but recently I’ve been getting emails from members showing us that they’re receiving Password Reset emails in straight HTML code.

    I tested it myself, both with the “Use HTML for E-mails?” box clicked, and without it clicked, and sometimes I would get an email with code, and other times it would be the properly formatted email. There was no clear pattern on when one or the other happened.

    I’m having the same problem. I tried sending the email out with the
    html box checked and with it unchecked.
    The new user receives the message in html code.

    Same issue here. Persists regardless if html email is checked or not.

    Can UM please attend to this issue? What if you prefer to send out plain text emails?

    I am having this problem as well, is there a fix in the works?

    I hope so. It’s not a difficult fix.
