• Hi,

I’m customizing subscriptions emails, using header and footer styling code:

    Header

    <div style="background:#FAFAFA;padding:15px;text-align:center;"><table style="background:#FAFAFA;margin:0px;" align="center" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" height="100%" width="100%"><tr><td align="center" valign="top"><table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" style="background:#FFFFFF;border-top:2px solid #DDDDDD;border-bottom:2px solid #DDDDDD;margin:0px;text-align:left;width:100%;"><tr><td style="border:none;padding:20px;" align="left" valign="top"><a id="logo_url_target_1" href="https://setmanarifelanitx.cat" title="Setmanari Felanitx" target="_blank"><img id="logo_url_target" alt="Setmanari Felanitx" src="https://www.setmanarifelanitx.cat/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/img-logo-twitter-400x400-1.jpg" style="display:inline;max-height:100px;padding-bottom:0;"/></a></td></tr><tr><td align="left" valign="top" style="background:#FFFFFF;border:none;font-family:inter,sans-serif;font-size:16px; line-height:23px;padding:0px 20px 0px 20px;text-align:left;"><div style="text-align:left;padding:20px 0px 20px 0px;border-bottom:1px solid #DDDDDD;border-top:1px solid #DDDDDD;">
    <p>!!name!!,</p>

    Footer:
    <p>Salutacions cordials,<br />!!sitename!!</p></div></td></tr><tr><td valign="top" style="border:none;color:#888888;font-family:inter,sans-serif;font-size:15px;line-height:22px;padding:20px;text-align:left;"><p style="margin:0px;padding:0px;">? 2021 <a style="color:#888888;font-weight:regular;text-decoration:none;" id="site_url_target_2" href="https://setmanarifelanitx.cat">!!sitename!!</a></p></td></tr></table></td></tr></table></div>

The problem is that text is displayed in bold and I cannot find from which part of the code is coming. I tried to add font-weight:300 or font-weight:regular, but no changes are applied.

    Any idea?

    Thanks in advance,

    María

  • Hi María,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro – Email Templates Add On.

Overlooking your HTML code and inline styling, I don’t see anything that indicates bold text.

Is the entire text of the email template in bold or only some parts?

Hi Andrew, thanks for your response. It’s really weird, actually bold text is only displayed in desktop version in PC, not in Mac, not in Android. Don’t know what it could be. And yes, it is the whole message.

    Have a nice day!

Thanks for the feedback, is this only happening on a certain email program? Could you test this across a couple of programs like Outlook and Gmail etc and let me know if it’s specific to a certain application.

This doesn’t sound like an issue with the Email Templates itself but the program used for emails on Windows.
