Emails not being received

The test mail from the Send With page is received properly, but the Preview email from a Newsletter issue is never received, even though the site says the preview email was sent successfully. Using SMTP sending settings which are clearly working, but it’s just the newsletter preview send that isn’t. I don’t want to queue up my newsletter post until I’m sure the sending works. I’ve noticed other users have submitted a similar problem on this forum. Is there a known fix for this?
