Emails not being sent

More and more customers have said lately that they don
t receive some or all of the emails sent from my store, like order confirmation, sent confirmation and Note to customer emails. I have contact my mailprovider and they have searched some of the missing emails and they can
t see that they have been sent at all. Many customers are getting the emails, so the system are sending some, but not all. I have not changed any settings since 2017.
Any suggestions on what the error might be?
