I have a daily send when new posts are published. However, I posted on 2/3 and it JUST got sent today – one week later. I have checked it they are set to daily @ 6 PM.

Why are the emails not going out? Both tests did the same thing.

UPDATE – I tried a new one today. It didn’t send. Hours later, I logged into the site and that is the only thing that prompted it to send. I had to be LOGGED IN for the email from mailpoet to send.

This doesn’t work the way it says. What am I missing??

    Hi @eventermom,

As I understand, the emails are being sent, so the sending method you’re using, but they’re delayed to be sent. Is that correct?

I believe this could be related to the cron option you’re using. You can check it by going to the MailPoet’s Settings > Advanced.

If you’re using the option “Visitors to your website” and your website does not receive much traffic (e.g., 10 or fewer visitors per hour), your emails may not be sent exactly when scheduled. In this case, please try to select the option “MailPoet’s own script” and let me know if it helps.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – we’ll be here if and/or when you are ready to continue.
