I am not aware of any known issues at this time but things change. A couple of questions:
- Did Email Users work previously and stop working? Or ..
- Is this a new installation of Email Users you are bringing up?
- Does the “Send Test Message” work on the Settings page?
- Do you get other email from your WordPress site? For example, comment notifications or user registrations?
- Have you looked into using DEBUG mode to verify the mail headers are consrtructed as you would expect them to be? Do the headers contain the expected email addresses?
- Have you checked with your hosting provider to see if you have any restrictions placed on outgoing email from your web site? BCC field allowed? Limit on the numver of email address in the BCC header? Limit on the number of emails which can be sent per hour?
- What is the “expected” versus “actual” reported for wp_mail on the Settings Page?
There are a number of things you can do to isolate the problem and determine if Email Users is truly not working or if there is a plugin collision. The first thing I would do is to temporarily disable all other plugins and see if you still have the problem. If the problem persists, you can usually rule out a plugin conflict and start looking at hosting restrictions. If the problem goes away then you need to start enabling other plugins one at a time or in small groups and determine which plugin is causing Email Users to stop working.
There is a beta of an upcoming version on my web site you are welcome to download and try. As I recall, it was mostly enhancements I added, no bug fixes that I recall off the top of my head. I was waiting for some feedback on one of the changes I made before releasing it but haven’t heard back so I’ll probably go ahead and release it this week once i get home.
