Emails not sent – connected to net.nz instead of googleapis.com

We upgraded to php 7.2 and no emails have been sent from our site since. There are no errors in the Email Log. We are using GMail and 0Auth

When I run the Connectivity Test I don’t see a port that can be used by googleapis. Is that an issue?:
