Emails not Triggered from site front end

Hi I’ve installed and have been using the free version of the plugin and it’s great. However, I can only get the emails to trigger and send from the backend. I have an email that is generated when a custom post type is set to scheduled and another when the same custom post type is deleted. Both emails work fine when these custom post types are edited in the backend, but do not work when users do the same using the front end of the site.

Any suggestions? I’d like to purchase the paid version of the plugin and looking into buying extensions but won’t do that if the plugin wont work on the front end on my site.
