emails not working

Hi there, the honest truth is I have been out of touch with the plugin as I hadn’t subscribed to the support thread…one would think WP would automatically subscribe the owner…sigh…

Is there an error or is the email simply not received?

I have just recently started with your wonderful easy petition (Thank You!!)
but my petition is not sending out emails either. I finally just told it to stop confirming. Is there any way to get that working?

Then at bottom of that page

If you think that the confirm email box means it will send me an email perhaps you are misunderstanding the system – and I am happy to tweak it if it is confusing.

That second email field is simply to get someone to enter their email twice to make sure they have entered it correctly. If you are wanting to have me receive an email to confirm that my email address is valid, you need to check the box on the right in the admin area for that petition dashboard > SpeakOut! > petitions > edit the peition

No I don’t have to have send everone an email to confirm. (I did think that was what it meant) But why do the people that signed the petition have an unconfirmed by them? & Thank you for the help.

I have added a new BCC yourself option to petitions which I think solves your issue.
