    Hi,

I’ve just noticed that emails from WordPress and plugins that use WordPress email system aren’t being sent out.

    Any assistance would be appreciated

    Cheers

    James

  • Hi

You can try using a plugin like WP Mail SMTP to configure WordPress to use SMTP instead of mail()

    All the best!

Yep, some hosts disable PHP Mail to deter spam. That could be the problem – your host should be able to let you know if PHP Mail is disabled and if they are willing to enable it on request. Otherwise, as epicdevspace (wow, love that name) points out, you can use a plugin to switch to SMTP.

    Thanks everyone for your replies.

When I send mail directly through the mail server, the emails worked, if using the contact form on wordpress the emails work. It was the mail from Woocommerce that weren’t working. It started happening after the WordPress upgrade.

After speaking with my host, they suggested using easy wp SMTP plugin as a solution.

Anyhow, I installed the Easy WP SMTP plugin and everything seems to be working now! ??

    Thanks

    Cheers

    James
