Emails sending when they shouldnt

    Hi,

    I have an email set up to send my users an email when a job posting becomes published. The emails however are sending if a job post is pending or published.

    I also deactivated the email but it is still sending anyway.

    Would love some help

    Thanks for your message.

    So, you have a notification that is set up to send out when A Job Post is set to ‘Published’ but you’re saying it also sends when the Job is set to Pending too?

    Additionally, when you go to the notification that you’ve set up and disable it, the emails are still sent?

    Is that all correct?

    Thanks for confirming. That’s most odd and I can’t say I’ve come across this issue before.

    Can you confirm you’re using the latest version of BNFW and WordPress?

    Hi @robinlewismedia,

    Can you let me know what plugin you’re using for the jobs? I imagine it’s this that is causing the issue by doing something strange with the post status transition.

    Hi Sorry,

    I have just been waiting for my developer to finish the new build in a few days before I take this problem. The jobs are a custom post type.

    Can I get back to you when he has uploaded the new site version. feared if we fixed it and then he uploaded the new version it may break it again. best to work on the latest build.
