Emails sent but not received

Hello,
Ive seen a lot of posts in the forums similar to mine but I havent seen a good solution.
My contact form was working fine and then I switched to a different domain name and now it still says the emails are sending but I am not receiving them. I read somewhere that if it is says “successfully sent” but you dont receive the email then it might be something to do with my wordpress not being set up properly.
I also noticed that when I go to my admin login for wordpress and click “forgot password” I get sent to my homepage and not to the correct place (and i dont get an email)
I’m assuming its not a plugin issue, but if there is any answer that might be helpful it would be greatly appreciated.
